Keenan.Koseli.Silas. Utah Family Session.

Meet Keenan, Koseli and little Silas. I met Koseli when we were 14 or 15 years old at a Summer church camp. We became instant friends and kept in touch over the years since then. However, it’s been a few years since I have been able to see her. We both live in different states now but found ourselves in Utah at the same time and I was so excited when she asked to meet up for a session. Koseli runs her own company and writes brilliant haiku’s on her blog, Inadvertent Haiku. Keenan is equally talented and works as a designer as well as doing a number of other projects, which can be read about on his website. I highly suggest you check them out.

P.S. Don’t they just have the most amazing style?

Happy February everyone! First off I have to say thank you, thank you for all the wonderful comments. I love each and every one of you. Truly I do. But sadly, there can only be one winner of our giveaway. I chose the winner old school style by drawing a name out of a hat (well, it was a bowl but you get the idea) and I’m excited to announce the winner is…Rodney Rasmussen! Congratulations Rodney! This session took place in December which I usually shy away from because of the cold. However, this day was quite nice and the sun was shining so we took advantage. These two make us giggle (and I mean full on giggle) and I think Kris was only just a little jealous of the fact that they have a dog. Thanks Hills! I’m glad we’re friends.

Travel News and a GIVEAWAY

Happy Friday everyone! January has run away from me again as it usually does and as such, I haven’t gotten around to announcing our current pricing for 2012. It has been updated on the website here but because I didn’t inform you dear clients of the change, I am allowing all portrait scheduling through February 10 to be at the old pricing rate ($150). So for you Utah friends, here are the dates I will be coming to Utah (give or take a few days before and after):

April 22-28

August 5-11

There is also a very good chance I will be making other visits and I will announce those as they come but for now, these are what I have scheduled. If you want to schedule, do it quickly. My time in Utah is always booked fast AND if you book before the 10th, you can get a session at a great price!

Now onto today’s giveaway. Today we are giving away ONE FREE PORTRAIT SESSION! You must be in Utah (Salt Lake City area) or Kentucky (Louisville area) or willing to travel to those places for the session. Session must take place by the end of this year. Baby Wright Birth Story.

These are our friends the Wrights. They recently (four months ago) added a little girl to their family and I am just getting around to posting about it. I was SO excited when Kailee asked me to photograph the event and I was honored to be a part of it. It was such a beautiful moment. Congratulations Wright family, she is a beautiful baby.

Happy Monday everyone and Happy New Year! Did you all have a wonderful holiday? We did, but it’s nice to be back to a routine and schedule. I’m excited for what the new year might bring and look forward to meeting more of you. Later this week I will be posting some changes to Corissa Ann Photography as well as some future travel dates. So look back here for more details. Anyway, on to today’s post…

This is the Lindman family. We met up with them in early November to get some pre-Holiday shots done. It was absolutely freezing that day but you wouldn’t know it. The kids were all smiles (and giggles) the whole time. I just loved their energy and excitement. Thanks for spending some time with us Lindmans!

Holiday cards and a Merry Christmas!

This is the first year that I sent out a Holiday card and it was so much fun that I don’t know why I haven’t done them before. Oh that’s right…I felt like Holiday cards were for people with kids. But guess what? I think we are pretty cute so people got them anyway. The pictures on the card are almost a couple years old but I still love them. Amelia Lyon did a wonderful a job. So did any of you send out Holiday cards this year? What’s your take on them?

Anyway, we are going to be taking a little break here at Corissa Ann Photography but wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We hope you have a wonderful holiday season and can’t wait to show you some new posts next year. Look for those new posts in just a couple of weeks! Happy Monday everyone! First off, let’s announce the winner of the “man box” giveaway. The winner was chosen via random.org and I’m happy to say that person is Jodie Heiselt! Congratulations Jodie! I hope you (or rather your man) enjoy the “man box”.

Next up, the Wenerstrom family. I LOVED this session. It was such a gorgeous day and these kids are awesome. I know I say that all the time and I mean it every time I do. They were so energetic and so sweet. I love the interactions this family has with each other. Whenever we shoot families, that is what we look for. We aren’t there to capture a cheese smile (although we will for the record books) but we are there to capture their relationships with each other and you can just feel the love this family has for one another. So, no more words. Enjoy.
